I had a look at the pictures on Ebay, (after lightening and enlarging in Paintshop) noticed they were not bushed at the small end.... as all 1300 engines are ....

The seller also says they are for 128 / 138 engine, but we all know that the 1.5 and 1.3 rods are different centre to centre lengths...I ...

All the 86.4mm bore engines that are 16v all take the same
piston, though this doesn't surprise me, as Fiat like to make
one part fit as many engine models across the range. This info
comes from the KS piston catalogue and cross references with
Mahle (pretty closely)

You cant just cap the two vent fittings on the tank, you have to allow for some sort of venting / pressure equalisation, or else there is the possibility of the tank collapsing... not from fuel being drawn out and creating negative pressure, but from the affects of ambient temperature changes ...

We never received the X19 till 1977 the first time, then only as a 'serie speciale' and only in three colours! Blue metallic, Green metallic and Orange mettalic.....

I have a Kent alloy gear on two of my cars, the gear on the 128 has done over 100,000km in the last 10years, and has worn some of the anodising off, but the alloy is untouched. I believe they use a very good quality alloy and heat treat it for durability.

These may be of assistance to anyone who is thinking of having a cam gear machined to make it adjustable.

I know they are for a twin cam engine, but the idea is exactly the same.

No problems with rear brake lock up at all....

A)uno turbo uses 240mm diameter discs, standard Fiat are 227mm, so the swept area MUST be greater on the UnoT disc....

B)UnoT also uses a slightly bigger pad than a standard X19...

both these changes must shift the brake bias forwards if UnoT brakes ...

X19 uses a 34mm rear brake piston

125 and 132 (gls , 1800 engine) uses a brake caliper that has a 38mm piston

It's a simple upgrade for anyone wishing to shift the brake bias of their X19 towards the rear, very useful when UnoT brakes are fitted to the front.

I have available A few different grinds OF cams suit sohc Fiats. They are manufactured by A company called Pittatore in Italy, who actually make cams for Alquati!

They are all new cams, not reground, and are available in either cast iron or nitrided steel.
